The problem with weed is less about the danger and/or problems it posses for others (the people that use it), despite what society prefers to imply. Looking at soda and coffee in our society proves this. The problem is the “short term impairment.” Society doesn’t like having to deal with idiot potheads and slackers. Our culture does not want people sitting at home stewing in their own drug-amped imagination. They want you to create and consume. Its what makes our world go round. You may take this as an argument in support of weed, as we have the right to do this, but its not. I agree that this is a waste of time, even if it can be used positively or without a real negative effect in by some. Frankly, potheads annoy the shit out of me just like they do most of society. (I agree, obese people are ugly to look at too.)
I dont really smoke weed ever, but seriously. Huge companies that sell unhealthy, environmentally damaging products just continue on their way while lesser evils are paraded around as much more harmful than they are.

I’m sorry but I am very pro-choice. Not because I love that babies die, but because it is a Woman’s choice and her choice alone.. and if it’s outlawed those women could be forced into really unfortunate circumstances.

(This is not directed at you Bre, but anyone that may read my reblog). If it is illegal to kill a dog, I don’t understand why it is not illegal to kill a baby. Women do have rights. They have the right to say no, to demand a condom, to take birth control, and to abstain all together. Yes, sometimes a person infringes on a woman’s right to say no which is wrong, and perhaps that circumstance should override a baby’s right to live. But why is it so easy to get an abortion? Why shouldn’t there be more restrictions? Why is it the only surgery that a child can go through without parental consent? (Because it may be dangerous for some girls if their parents found out they are pregnant? Maybe the problem there is the fact that these children are still under the care of these parents.)
Honestly, population control is the only argument I understand. If you believe it is right and good to allow abortion because we have too many people as it is and because without abortion poor people would be having too many babies then I cannot argue with you against abortion. You obviously do not value human life as much as I do, and while I may not agree with your argument, I at least understand it. What I do not understand is the argument of a rights for one party, but not the other. (I suppose you also support allowing marriage for some people but not other people, based on sexual preference maybe?)
